Collateral Management Session 24 May 07 An industry talk on Warehouse Receipt and Collateral Management was held for GIA members companies on 24 May 07, Thursday at GIA Conference room. 20 participants attended the talk. The speaker was Mr. Matthieu Delorme, Vice President, Collateral Management, of Cotecna Group. He presented topics on the key concepts of warehouse receipts and collateral management not to mention its impact on the various stakeholders involved (i.e., collateral managers, shipper, consignees, banks and insurers).  He also presented the potential pitfalls as well as the scope of insurance cover required .He also updated the participants on the developments in warehouse receipts and collateral management around the world especially in Asia. The talk was very well received given the largely positive feedback gathered from the participants.
