 Provide a hotline for motorists involved in accidents

 Provide a towing service, if required

 Receive vehicles (including trucks, buses and motorcycles) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

 Provide qualified, independent inspectors to photograph and record accident damage.

 Provide independent, trustworthy reports on accident damage

 
Idacs don't

 Idacs do not charge motorists for the inspection service  
#
 They do not charge for towing damaged vehicles  
#
 Idacs do not repair vehicles or recommend repairers. Where the vehicle goes for repair must be decided between the owner and the insurer - as at present
